Affilorama or Commission Cycle
These get confused constantly and the confusion is understandable: same person, same industry, same promise. They teach opposite traffic strategies and only one of them is something you can decide about this month.
The split, stated first
| Affilorama | Commission Cycle | |
|---|---|---|
| Traffic | Google search | Instagram and YouTube |
| What you build | A content site | A reply-driven list |
| Core skill | Writing at length | Posting and replying |
| Pace | Slow and durable | Fast and platform-dependent |
| Live in 2026? | Historical | Yes, until 24 September 2026, 11:59pm Pacific |
Which one you are looking for
If you searched the older name because you remember it, the thing you are actually checking is whether the person behind it is trustworthy now. That is a seller question rather than a product question and it is answered here against the category average.
If you searched it because you want an SEO-and-content business, that model still works and it is a genuine choice. It is slower, it is more durable, and nothing being sold this month teaches it.
The argument for the older approach
You own the asset. A content site that ranks keeps ranking whether or not you post this week, and no platform can change a policy and delete it. That is a real advantage and the current method does not have it.
The argument against it
Time to first dollar. Months, realistically, and most people quit inside that window. The newer method's central claim is that the wait is the thing that kills beginners, and that claim is not unreasonable.
There is also the small matter of who you are competing with for a ranking now, which is a different landscape from the one Affilorama was built for.
What happened to the older brand
This site does not assert anything about its current commercial status, because nothing citable is published on it and guessing would be worse than saying so. What can be said is that the method it taught is still a real method, taught by plenty of other people, and that nothing about the 2026 launch depends on it.
If you arrived looking to join it specifically, the honest answer is that the search you want is for current SEO-and-content training rather than for this seller, and that is not what is being sold this month.
The verdict
If you have never earned anything online, take the faster route. Not because it is better in the abstract but because a first result is worth more than an optimal strategy you abandon in week six. Build the durable asset second, funded by the first.
If you have earned online before and the bottleneck is durability rather than momentum, the older answer is the right one and you should ignore the launch.
