Five brands, five different jobs

People arrive at these names in the wrong order and conclude they are alternatives to each other. Mostly they are not. Two are retired, one is a free event, one is for product owners and one is for affiliates — and picking correctly between the last two is the only decision on this page that costs money.

What each one is for

BrandThe job it doesRelevant to a 2026 decision?
Affilorama SEO-era affiliate trainingAs evidence about the seller, not to join
Traffic Travis SEO software from the same eraSame — evidence, nothing more
Profit Helix Build and sell your own productsYes, if you have something to teach
Profit Engine Live The free event, 14-15 SeptemberYes, and it costs nothing
Commission Cycle Promote other people's productsYes, this is the paid decision

The only comparison that matters

Profit Helix against Commission Cycle. Everything else on the list is either free or historical, and neither of those categories takes money out of your account this month.

The choice is ownership against speed. Own the product and you keep the margin and carry the support inbox. Promote someone else's and you start this week with nothing to build. Settled in full here.

Why the old brands keep coming up anyway

Because they are the only checkable part of the seller's record. A sales page can say anything; a brand that ran publicly for a decade and that strangers still type into Google is a different class of evidence, and it is the kind you cannot manufacture retroactively.

That cuts both ways and this site treats it that way. A long record is a floor, not a ceiling, and it says nothing about whether the thing being sold this month is any good. The verdict on the seller is separate.

The reviews, one per brand

The order to research them in

Seller first, method second, price third. Most people do it in reverse and get stuck on the number, which is the one variable that cannot be evaluated until the other two are settled. The price is either absurd or cheap depending entirely on whether the method suits you, and no amount of staring at the figure resolves that.

Research on the seller should take ten minutes. The two retired brands answer it and then stop being useful. The method deserves an evening, and the free sessions on 14 and 15 September are the cheapest evening available for it.

Names that are the same thing

Profit Engine Live is the event. Commission Cycle is the product sold at it. The "webinar", the "workshop" and the "sessions" are three words for the same four calls, used interchangeably across the seller's own pages and the affiliate mailings that point at them.

That is worth knowing because searching any of those terms lands you in the same place, and because a page claiming they are separate products is either confused or not being straight with you.

What none of this tells you

Whether you will do the work. That variable is larger than every difference between these five brands put together, and no amount of brand research substitutes for it. The final verdict says so plainly.
